Skagen is an ocean of light suspended between the sea and the sky. The scenery is vast and untouched: heaths and sand dunes surrounded by the sea.
This northernmost tip of Denmark has more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the country.
It is no surprise that this unique place attracted tourists since mid ‘800, and that many artists chose this town as their place of residence and work. Skagen is also a city of art, with several museums and attractions.
